Note that the Healthy Living Club no longer exists. The organisation would up in April 2020. This web site survives but is only a historical record.

The Healthy Living Club provides people with dementia, their carers and the residents of Lingham Court (an extra care unit in Stockwell) with an opportunity to be with each other and enjoy themselves together. We run a Wednesday Club (11.00 a.m. – 3.00 p.m.) and a Monday Club (11.00 a.m. – 3.00 p.m.). In addition we host an occasional carers’ group led by the Lambeth Carers’ Hub and some other events.

Our meetings are like parties: there always is music, good food and much laughter. Activities are chosen to meet the specific needs of people with dementia, but everybody else —carers, volunteers and visitors— takes part in them and enjoys them as well.

Our Annual Report for 2014/15 is here. (with a lot of detail and pictures)

Our Annual Report for 2015/16 is here (shorter, simpler but more up-to-date)

The Club has always been a self-governing community. It is not a service provided by anyone else. We thus rely on members, their families and supporters to contribute in whatever way they can through donations, help with fund-raising or in other ways.

If you would like to join, feel free to self-refer.

We are a charity, number 1154130 and this is our HLC constitution Sept 2013
